Forgive me for re-working another piece... part of me just wasn't happy with the other one, so I wanted to tweak it a bit. I didn't like the way the other one was just there, without really saying anything. I wanted to show more of the "then vs. now" of technology and it's potentially disastrous effect on nature as we "improve" (*cough, cough*) the things around us.
And for those of you who see multiple versions of similar images as somehow "invalid" - too bad! Second entry for the "Technology & Nature" contest: [link] C'mon, join it! Submit something! Heck, if I can do something pseudo-sci-fi, then you certainly can!
