To all of my dA friends and fans: once again, please DON'T PANIC! I have not abandoned my Faerie Origins project that I have been working on little by little... I merely still had a few contest "irons in the fire," so to speak, and I'm trying to tie up those loose ends before returning home (which for me is the Land of Pointy Eared Females - lol!)

I came across a contest with the nice-and-general theme of "anything fantasy related" [link] and thought it sounded like fun. I see so many different styles and approaches to artwork by such talented artists here on DA. One thing I've observed about my own style so far is that I seem fairly timid about venturing into the more surreal. So with that in mind, I've come up with this as sort of a "baby step" - for me, at any rate! Thanks for looking...
