Finally! Although this is not entirely a part of my Faerie Origins image that I have been working toward with several other pieces in my gallery, I am greatly relieved to be heading back into my "comfort zone" with another fantasy image!
This is actually an illustration for a fantasy story I have been writing for a long time now, featuring the Princess Tarabethia, her noble steed Jhacob, and Flyt (the ever-mischievious Faerie Dragon). There are many other characters in the works, but I wanted to finish this one in particular as a birthday surprise for the real Tarabethia - hope you like it, my friend!!
I'm also entering it in the Celtic Myths & Legends contest (I always thought she reminded me of Guinevere, though admittedly my vision of her, however historically inaccurate she may seem to you - lol!): Celtic Myths & Legends contest
